How many meters do you place a warning triangle on a motorway? I thought the book said 100m for motorway; 30m for express way and regular roads. Please help clarify. Thanks.

Yes that's correct. On normal roads at least 30 meters from the accident site. On motorways at least 100 meters. It must be visible to approaching vehicles from 50 meters.
