The 🪹 Empty Nest emoji is an empty bird’s nest made of wooden rods and twigs on a tree branch. The emoji was approved by Unicode in 2021, along with the emoji 🪺 “Nest with Eggs” and added to the category 🐶 “Animals & Nature”. 🪹 “Empty Nest” emoji represents an abandoned 🐦 Bird’s nest, 🏠 Home and nesting instinct. It can also signify growing up, independence, leaving 👪 Parents‘ house, emptiness and separation. In other meanings, it symbolizes comfort, security, a new home and a fresh start. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Evergreen Tree

Evergreen Tree emoji is the picture of a needle-leaved tree or a pine naturally growing in the woods. Along with the type represented by 🌳 Deciduous Tree emoji, this one shows the most common tree type in the Northern Hemisphere. Also, this one is the center of many traditions including decorating it for 🎁 Christmas and 🎄 New Year. But as far as it is undecorated, it is mostly used in the context of nature, woods, and traveling. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Ewe

Ewe emoji is the image of the fluffy sheep — the hoofed domestic mammal, which is mainly grown for its warm and soft wool, which is used in the manufacturing of different things like clothes or blankets. Unlike its male version, the Ewe is the symbol of extreme naivety, lack of intelligence, submissiveness, and inability to think logically — so it is often used as an insult. Of course, it’s may be also used in its direct meaning of a farm animal. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Fallen Leaf

Fallen Leaf emoji is a picture of one or two colored leaves that have fallen from a tree in 🍁 Autumn. Unsurprisingly, it is often used in the context of this time of the year, its holidays, 🌧 Weather, and beauty. To underline the colorfulness of autumn nature, this emoji is often combined with the green 🍃 Leaf Fluttering in Wind emoji. Sometimes it is also used to symbolize the feeling of nostalgia and slight sadness. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Feather

Feather emoji represents the magical tool that helps a 🐦 Bird fly. You can use this emoji when telling someone to lighten up and ease up like a feather. But, feathers have a rather kinky side, so if you are feeling a little frisky, send this emoji to a loved one so they know to expect some fun when they get home. Send this emoji with the 😌 Relieved Face emoji to tell someone to calm and relax. For the kinky side, send it with the 😉 Winking Face emoji to show you have some fun plans for the night. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Fish

Fish emoji is a picture of a middle-sized Fish, typically living in rivers, lakes, or seas. This sort of Fish is used for 🍕 Food — so it may appear not only about nature and the sea life but also about 🍳 Cooking, food, and fishing (despite the fact it is still alive). Unlike the species represented by 🐠 Tropical Fish emoji, this one is rarely kept in an aquarium because of its size and modest look. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Flamingo

Flamingo emoji is a pink Flamingo standing on one 🦵 Leg. Flamingos are colorful, graceful birds, sometimes compared to slender women. Other times they are used to talking about someone who is rather striking. Send it with the 👩 Woman emoji when talking about a pretty woman you have seen. Fly

Fly emoji represents the little annoying bug that pesters you for your 🍕 Food. If you know someone who annoys you and will not buzz off, pun intended, you can send them this emoji to tell them to please leave you alone. Since flies are known to eat anything and enjoy filth, you can send this to someone you know is gross and needs a life change. Send it with the 💩 Pile of Poo emoji to clearly tell someone they are disgusting, and you hate it. Or send it with the 😤 Face With Steam From Nose to tell someone to leave you alone and you mean it! (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Four Leaf Clover

Four Leaf Clover emoji is the picture of the clover variety with four leaves. It is quite hard to find, probably this is why it has become a symbol of good luck — and it is often used in the meaning of a lucky symbol. As well as its “brother” represented by the ☘️ Shamrock emoji, this one is the worldly recognized symbol of 🇮🇪 Ireland in general, Irish people, and 🍀 St Patricks Day, which is the most famous holiday of Irish origin. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Fox

Fox Face emoji is the picture of a red and fluffy fox’s snout looking straight forward. Together with 🐺 Wolf Face emoji, this one represents the two most known rapacious forest animals. Apart from its direct meaning of the animal, the emoji may be also used in the indirect meaning of the traits of character that are typically attributed to the foxes, for example, slyness, agility, and, of course, a certain kind of gracefullness. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Frog

Frog Face emoji is a picture of a cartoon-like funny frog’s head. However, how it is depicted has nothing in common with how these amphibians look in real life, so it is rarely used in meanings related to nature. Instead, it may serve as an illustration of a toy, cartoon character, and so on. Also, it may form a story together with other animals’ heads and emojis, for example, with 🍄 Mushroom emoji. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Giraffe

Giraffe emoji is the tallest land animal to walk the planet. But, as big as they are, they are surprisingly graceful. Some people have that grace in their walks that you may like and have to tell someone. Text someone a Giraffe and 🚷 No Pedestrians emoji to show that. Because of their height, some people are labeled as giraffes. Send an 👨 Man or 👩 Woman emoji to express that you just saw a tall 🚶 Person Walking about. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

Goat

Goat emoji is the image of a domesticated hoofed animal with long horns, which is grown mainly for meat and nutritious 🥛 Milk, just like the creature represented by 🐑 Ewe emoji is raised for wool. Like in the case of many other animals, this one is associated with some traits of character — stupidity, aggressiveness, and stubbornness. So no wonder this emoji is sometimes used as an insult, along with its direct meaning of a farm mammal. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

As for indirect meanings, it may symbolize strength and a lack of intelligence. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

It may be used in its direct meaning; also, because of its puffy cheeks, this emoji may denote a person with round cheeks. Hippopotamus emoji is a large animal that spends most of its time in the 💦 Water. But when they’re on land they are surprisingly fast. (Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

(Source: Emojis.wiki, Fair use)

I received a 300$ ticket because I passed a police control of other cars/drivers on the right lane of a highway (the control was on the hard shoulder of the highway). Is it really true, that you have to change the lane in such cases? Thanks!

I am an American living in Italy. The Italian Drivers License theory test is the hardest test I have ever studied for and I am in my 70s have multiple degrees, multiple professional certifications. Have to take the Italian Drivers Theory test in Italian. No english. So many rules. More signs in small medieval Italian town I live in then in major US cities I have lived in. No Italian license no driving. No buying or renting a car. Test here was good, clean. Lots of tricky questions on many practice and real official tests. Thanks

Cool tool! And fun to check whether I remember the rules :) Two things I noticed: Warning for a crossroad side roads on the left and right. While technically that might be the correct translation, this sign tells you, that you are on the main road and have the right of way for the next crossroad and only the next crossroad. Usually (if no sign specifies otherwise) you have to give way to drivers coming from the right at every intersection, which can get a bit annoying in communal areas, so seeing this sign feels less like a warning and more like relief :). A Fahrradstraße is not a lane for cyclists but a street for cyclists, meaning the (whole!) street is intended predominantly for cyclists, who are then allowed to ride next to each other. Cars are allowed to drive there (unless another sign prohibits such), but have to adjust their speed to the cyclists. I believe they are not allowed to pass at all, even if the oncoming lane is empty.
